In the presence of Dr. Randall Rhodes, the President of the American University of Kurdistan,  Dr. Karwan F Sami, the Vice President of the University of Zakho for Students Affairs,  Mrs. Loucine Hayes, the Director of Center for Academic and Professional Advancement, Mr. Ivan H. Murad, the Director of Language Center,  Dr. Sattar Jabbar Haji, the Director of Pedagogical Training and Development Center, and CAPA staff, on July 28th, 2022 the Open Day event was successfully conducted.
The event started at 10am and finished at 1pm. In the beginning of the event a speech was delivered by the President of the American University of Kurdistan Dr. Randall followed by a speech presented by our Vice President for Students' Affairs, Dr. Karwan. This was followed by a short seminar presented by Mrs. Hayes, the director of CAPA at AUK on what CAPA is and what courses they offer.

Following that, demo classes were presented by CAPA staff in which they underlined and demonstrated the academic services and courses offered by CAPA. It is worth mentioning that a big number of participants attended the demo classes and around 31 individuals registered in the offered courses only today.
